Tradesperson (Electrician) - SalfordThe University of Salford is looking to appoint a skilled and reliable Electrician to join its in-house Estates Maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a large, diverse university estate, helping to keep buildings safe, compliant and fully operational for staff, students and visitors. Estates & Facilities provides a comprehensive service across the University, covering maintenance, compliance, capital projects, cleaning, security and caretaking. The maintenance team plays a critical role in ensuring the campus is safe, welcoming and fully functional every day.The RoleAs qualified electrician with a strong practical background and a positive, customer-focused approach, you will carry out a wide range of planned preventative and reactive electrical works across a varied and interesting estate, including teaching, research, residential and specialist facilities. The role is varied, covering everything from routine inspections, fault finding, repairs and minor installation projects.
