Job Description
Role Purpose
To assist the Senior Product Manager in developing and managing the Bank’s product offering, with consideration applied to the commercial, market and regulatory operating requirements through robust risk management in addition to managing and influencing key stakeholder relationships.
Please note - the position is office based with a Hybrid Working policy with flexibility to work from home up to 3 days a week. This role can be based from our Birmingham or Milton Keynes office.
Role Duties
* Assist the Senior Product Manager in the management of the Bank’s Savings product offering – the development of new product strategies/propositions and ongoing management of existing products.
* Regularly research and analyse customer needs and the UK Savings market.
* Monitor market competition by comparing the company's Savings products and criteria to competitors' products and make recommendations in line with business needs.
* Source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives in collaboration with the Marketing & Communications team.
* Assist the Senior Product Manager by preparing new product proposals or change requests for committee approval.
* Assist in the production of management information for short-term and long-term product forecasts, special reports, and analysis of the Savings market.
Required Skills
* Experience within Financial Services or Banking environment
* Background where strong written and verbal skills were required
* A passion for product analysis, development and building relationships
