About The Role
In this role, you will:
* To oversee the development of a sanctuary scheme pilot which aims to keep victims and survivors of domestic abuse safe in their own homes.
* To work with IDAS’ Community and Safe Accommodation services to assess risk and provide a holistic package of support for victims and survivors.
* To develop referral pathways for partner agencies to access the scheme and work collaboratively to keep victims and survivors safe.
* To monitor the pilot, being creative and innovative to reduce barriers for anyone needing to access the service.
* To provide regular reports on outcomes and challenges.
* To engage with and present to a range of stakeholders.
* To ensure that anyone contacting IDAS receives excellent customer care.
* To provide support to a small team of admin staff and volunteers and to work closely with the Hub Lead to grow a team of volunteers.
* To ensure that the services are delivered in line with IDAS policies and procedures promoting high standards in all areas of work.
* To work closely with all Leads and Managers to support innovation and change management.
* To develop excellent relationships with our partners on the contract and external agencies.
* To purchase and monitor target hardening stock, ensuring that levels are adequately maintained and distributed.
* Provide practical and emotional support to individuals and families affected by domestic abuse
