Credit Control Team Member
Kirkstall Forge (Leeds, LS5 3BF)
Hybrid working (Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the office).
Full time 37.5 hours.
Permanent.
Salary: £24,900 to £29,000 per annum plus fantastic Bupa benefits.

Working in our Operations Finance team, you'll support residents, families and colleagues by keeping sales ledger accounts accurate and up to date. Your work ensures invoices are correct, payments are collected sensitively and fairly, and financial processes run smoothly so our care teams can focus on what matters most.

How you'll help us make health happen
* Manage a dedicated portfolio of sales ledger accounts for our Care Homes.
* Carry out credit control activities, following up overdue payments by phone, email or letter in a supportive and sensitive way.
* Respond to queries from residents, families and colleagues, giving clear and friendly guidance.
* Work closely with Care Home Administrators and Finance teams to maintain accurate debt positions and agree next steps where needed.
* Investigate and reconcile account queries, explaining outcomes in simple, everyday language.
* Support with central billing to ensure invoices are accurate and issued on time.
* Review and approve refund requests in line with policy and procedures.
* Keep detailed notes on the billing system so others have the information they need.
* Contribute to departmental targets through organised, proactive and accurate work.
* Keep your personal development plan up to date and continue learning new skills.
Key skills/qualifications needed for this role
* Previous experience in a credit control role is essential. Please state this on your application.
* Confidence using MS Package, including Excel, Word and Outlook and comfortable learning new systems.
* Ability to plan your time well, stay organised and meet deadlines calmly.
* Clear, friendly communication skills and the ability to build trust with residents, families and colleagues.
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
* Strong interpersonal skills and a customer‑focused approach.
* Confidence in making thoughtful decisions and explaining them simply.
* A proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and offer solutions.
