Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and flexibleLocum Practice Nurseto join our friendly team in Leeds. This role is ideal for someone looking for part-time or flexible work between 1 and 3 days per week.
You will be providing essential treatment room services, working closely with GPs and the wider primary care team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
* All treatment room duties including:
* Wound care and dressings
* Immunisations and vaccinations (including travel where required)
* Cervical cytology (smears)
* Chronic disease monitoring (e.g. diabetes, asthma, COPD)
* Injections (B12, contraception, etc.)
* ECGs and phlebotomy
* NHS health checks
* Patient education and health promotion
* Accurate documentation and use of clinical systems (e.g. EMIS/SystmOne)
Requirements
* NMC Registered Nurse with current PIN
* Recent experience in a GP practice setting essential
* Confident in all treatment room procedures
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
