Trust Doctor (ST3+) in Cardiology Specialising in Cardiomyopathy
This post offers out-of-programme training in inherited cardiac conditions (ICC) for candidates with suitable experience in clinical Cardiology. Post holders are expected to undertake the same educational obligations as their colleagues.
Opportunities include working in clinics, inpatient settings, imaging, exercise physiology, genetics, as well as engaging in research and teaching.

Responsibilities include:
1. Managing cardiomyopathy patients, including new and follow-up cases.
2. Evaluating and investigating families with sudden arrhythmic death in a specialist clinic.
3. Providing routine care for patients admitted under the ICC team and assessing those referred for opinions from the team.
