To contribute to the provision of a comprehensive, efficient and effective administrative service. To provide support to a busy team of Community based Mental Health Professionals, Team Leaders and Management. You will also take a lead for Data Quality and the E Roster system. To support the AMHP team leaders and the clinical staff with day to day administration tasks, including updating tracker, diary management, data inputting, on‑going database management, using the Trust's systems (training will be provided). You will be expected to assist and provide appropriate advice and information to Service Users (Adults of all ages) and members of the public as appropriate and required. You will also liaise with other professionals inside and outside of the Trust as applicable.
Responsibilities
* Responsibility for ensuring all correspondence is accurately and appropriately presented using current methodologies and medical terminology used by the team.
* To be highly skilled and experienced in the full range of secretarial work practices, software programmes, and specialised functional terms.
* To use proficient internet skills to input, access, search and retrieve data relevant to team.
* To use knowledge, and experience to meet the needs of the teams by completing non‑routine tasks on a daily basis.
* To update skills as necessary and attend mandatory training.
* To demonstrate excellent IT skills, a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and accurate audio typing is essential.
* To update the E Roster staff system with bank shifts, annual leave and sickness.
* To keep the tracker for AMHP team up to date.
* To take on non‑routine duties without direct supervision, working within broad procedural guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience
* Good standard of education to secondary level.
* Experience of working in an office environment.
* NVQ3/RSA3 or equivalent experience.
* Ability to organise and prioritise own workload.
* Proficient in diary management.
* Maintain a filing system, both paper and computerised systems.

Desirable criteria
* Knowledge of medical terminology.
