Overview
We are looking for a Public Health Learning and Development Manager to deliver a public health education programme across the Yorkshire and Humber and Northeast region, supporting workforce upskilling and addressing health inequalities.
Responsibilities
* Design and deliver public health training, including the Foundation Programme across four Integrated Care Systems.
* Plan, develop and present curriculum to diverse audiences, primarily through online platforms such as MS Teams or Zoom.
* Collaborate with partners such as the Royal Society of Public Health, NHS England and the Office of Health Improvement & Disparities.
* Lead organisational change initiatives that have measurable impact on health outcomes.
* Maintain high standards of public engagement, fostering consensus among stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with NHS and public sector policy changes and manage contract expectations.
Qualifications
* Relevant degree in public health or related field.
* Experience designing evidence‑based projects and delivering successful organisational change.
* Proven facilitation skills with online delivery experience (MS Teams/Zoom).
* Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
* Strong prioritisation and time‑management abilities.
* Actively familiar with NHS systems, structures and policy changes.
