General Farm Worker General Farm Worker – Dairy / stock / Rearing - East Ayrshire - £28,500-£29,800 The Job: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Farm Worker to join our dairy farming team. The farm runs a 120 head dairy herd along with 200 followers. This is a hands on role involving livestock care and a variety of general farm duties. This is a family run farm who are looking for someone to become a strong part of the team Key Responsibilities: - Daily care and supervision of dairy cows and youngstock (feeding, bedding, welfare checks) - Assisting with milking routines as required - General farm work, including maintenance, slurry handling, fencing, and machinery use - Maintaining high standards of animal welfare and farm hygiene including cleanliness of parlour, footbath ect - Supporting seasonal tasks as needed The Candidate: - Practical skills in fabrication/welding (an advantage but not essential) - Ability to operate farm machinery safely and responsibly - Good communication and teamwork skills - Previous livestock or farm work experience preferred but not essential (training can be provided) - Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions - Physically fit and able to carry out manual work - Reliable, responsible, and motivated to work independently as well as part of a team - Must be able to bring accommodation or,relocate to local area The Package: - Full-time, 8:30am – 5:30pm, 5 days per week – standard but can be flexible (no Sunday working) - Pay rate £12.21-£12.75 per hour (£28,500-£29,800 PA) Please email your CV to Grace Hartwell, Senior Delivery Recruitment Consultant, GHartwell@agriRS.co.uk.
