Great opportunity for a Qualified Accountant to join a large Manufacturing organisation in Blackpool. They are looking for a motivated candidate ready to step up into the role and this is a brilliant opportunity to be part of a large finance function, with lots of senior support and the chance to prove yourself and progress.
You will report into the Financial Controller, and a key part of this role is to build key relationships with both finance and non-finance Managers, so the role will take on commercial aspects.
* Preparation, review and analysis of accurate and timely management accounts
* Balance sheet reviews Monthly/Quarterly
* VAT Return
* Supporting yearend audit
* Continual review and improvement of procedures and key controls
* Supporting the new financial system implementation
* Ad hoc projects and reporting
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Excellent excel skills
Confidence and ability to work with senior managers
Professional and positive attitude
Excellent communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
You will also be able to work to tight deadlines in a fast paced changing environment. Candidates must be qualified (ACMA, ACCA or ACA).
