It is especially suitable for Criminology and Psychology graduates or aspiring teachers, providing experience working with vulnerable students, enhancing their engagement, attainment, and life chances.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will collaborate with teachers and specialists to support students with special educational needs or those requiring extra help to stay focused in class.
Many supported students face various life barriers and are at risk of negative outcomes. Your role will be crucial in providing consistency and equipping children and young people with tools to feel safe, secure, empowered, and confident in their potential.
