Kitchen Manager – BBQ & Burger Pub Kitchen

Salary: up to £36000 per year (depending on experience)
We’re looking for a Kitchen Manager to lead a small team of 2 chefs in our recently opened BBQ and burger pub kitchen in Homerton. This is a great opportunity for a Junior Sous Chef ready to step up into a management role and take ownership of kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily running of the kitchen and ensure smooth service
* Manage kitchen schedules and staff rotas
* Take responsibility for ordering, deliveries, and stock control
* Maintain accurate records and manage GP targets
* Ensure all dishes are prepared to consistent quality and presentation standards
* Uphold excellent food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness at all times
* Support, train, and motivate the kitchen team
About You
* Previous experience as a Junior Sous Chef or experienced Chef de Partie
* Confident in managing stock, ordering, and kitchen organisation
* Passionate about BBQ food, burgers, and pub dining
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* Good understanding of food safety, allergens, and compliance
