We are seeking a talented and driven Search Account Manager to join our passionate team. This role is ideal for an experienced digital marketer who excels at building strong client relationships, managing end-to-end SEO and PPC campaigns, and delivering tangible results. You will be key in devising, implementing, and optimising search strategies, ensuring our clients achieve maximum visibility and return on investment.


RESPONSIBILITIES


SEO Campaign Management:

* Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
* Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitor analysis, and technical audits.
* Monitor and analyse organic search performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
* Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve organic rankings, traffic, and conversions.
* Collaborate with content and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across client websites.


PPC Campaign Management:

* Plan, create, and manage effective PPC campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
* Conduct thorough keyword research, ad copy creation, and landing page optimisation.
* Monitor and analyse PPC campaign performance, focusing on KPIs like ROI, CTR, CPC, and conversions.
* Implement A/B testing strategies to continuously optimise campaign performance.
* Manage media budgets effectively to maximise ROI for clients.
* Report into Head of PPC.


Reporting & Analysis:

* Produce insightful and comprehensive performance reports, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for clients.
* Present reports and strategies confidently to clients, demonstrating value and driving discussions.


Strategic Input & Team Collaboration:

* Contribute to the wider agency strategy, staying abreast of industry trends and platform updates.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., content, design, development) to ensure integrated campaign delivery.
* Mentor and support junior team members as appropriate.


Client Relationship Management:

* Act as the primary point of contact for a dedicated portfolio of clients, building and nurturing strong, long-lasting relationships.
* Conduct regular client meetings (in-person and/or virtual) to discuss performance, review strategies, and identify new opportunities.
* Proactively communicate campaign progress, insights, and recommendations clearly and concisely.
* Identify and pursue opportunities for upsell and cross-sell of additional digital marketing services.


Required Skills / About You

* Proven experience (2 years minimum) in a Search Account Manager, SEO & PPC Account Manager, or similar role within a digital marketing agency.
* Demonstrable expertise in both SEO and PPC best practices and successful campaign execution.
* Proficiency with industry-standard tools including:
* Google Analytics
* Google Search Console
* Google Ads
* Microsoft Ads (Bing Ads)
* SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Moz, etc.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
* Proven client-facing experience, with a track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
* Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
* Proactive and results-oriented mindset.
* A passion for digital marketing and a commitment to continuous learning.


Desired (but not essential) Skills:

* Experience with other digital marketing channels (e.g., Paid Social, Display).
* Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
* Google Ads and/or Google Analytics certifications.

SALARY

£28,000 - £40,000 per annum (Depending on experience)
