Position Overview:
As an Internal Sales Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, playing a key role in driving sales growth. You will manage customer accounts, generate new business opportunities, and provide excellent customer service, while working closely with the wider sales team to achieve targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Handle incoming sales enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms
2. Proactively identify and generate new sales opportunities
3. Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
4. Prepare and follow up on sales quotations and provide product information
5. Collaborate with the external sales team to develop and implement sales strategies
6. Process orders accurately and efficiently
7. Update and maintain customer databases and sales records
8. Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs
9. Provide after-sales support, resolving customer queries promptly
Qualifications and Skills:
10. Previous experience in a sales or customer service role (internal sales experience desirable)
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
12. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
13. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales
14. Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
15. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
16. Knowledge of insulation or construction products would be advantageous but not essential

Work Hours: This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm, based at our Uddingston site.
