The Role:
We have a fantastic and exciting opportunity for a driven, target-focused Sales Professional to join our client’s growing and successful team. To play a key role in the growth of the business, you will self-generate a pipeline, develop relationships with key decision-makers, and secure the business of non-farming clients within target commercial sectors. As well as selling commercial insurance, you will cross-sell the full range of products our client offers, including financial services, risk management services, and their range of motor and personal insurances.
Responsibilities:
* Proactively seeking out and researching businesses within commercial sectors to develop a sales pipeline.
* Reviewing and identifying the commercial insurance needs of prospects and advising on insurance products.
* Utilising your training, support, and resources to develop an in-depth understanding of target commercial sectors and associated insurance products.
* Handing over new clients to the customer-focused team of Service, Claims, and Account Management colleagues, who will ensure that the new business you’ve generated is well looked after and retained at renewal.
Skills and Requirements:
* Previous experience working with High-Net-Worth individuals is desirable.
* Previous experience working in a targeted sales environment is essential.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Strong IT literacy; social media skills are desirable but not essential.
* Good organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks.
