Based from our Head Office in Richmond, this Management Accountant role will allow you to be fully involved with overseeing the finance function of a variety of UK branded hotel properties for a 12 month fixed term.
You will be working closely with Finance Manager & Regional Accountants in the production of hotels' reports in terms of forecasts and month end reports to strict deadlines as well as ensuring all costs have accrued for the correct period.
Main Duties Include:
* Checking Batches
* Weekly & Monthly Bank Reconciliation
* Post Revenue Journal in Sage after all final checks
* Prepare & Post - Accrual & Prepay Journal
* Payroll Journals
* Depreciation journal and FA Reconciliation
* Reviewing Monthly P&L
* Balancing Intercompany Accounts
* Monthly Review of Balance Sheet
* Monthly & Quarterly VAT Submission
* All other Adoc work
The successful applicant will be offered a role subject to eligible Right to Work and a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
What’ll make you a great fit for this Management Accountant role
* Experience in a Finance/Accountancy role
* You will be able to display experience in accurately processing financial transactions
* Practical knowledge of balance sheet and bank reconciliations
* Ideally studying towards CIMA/ACCA
* We get that you like numbers. But you’ll also love people too – and as a result, have great interpersonal and communication skills
* Details? You love them.
* Systems wise – probably goes without saying that you have intermediate IT skills, including Excel.
