Multi Skilled Engineer - OX1 (Oxford)
?? 02/02/2026 - 02/02/2027?? Oxford, OX1Hays are recruiting for a Multi Skilled Engineer to support reactive and planned maintenance across a commercial site in Oxford (OX1). This is a long-term 12-month contract offering varied work across building fabric, lighting, plumbing and general maintenance tasks.Key Responsibilities
* Respond to reactive tasks within agreed SLA timeframes
* Deliver planned maintenance to schedule
* Liaise with client representatives regarding maintenance and repair activity
* Carry out site surveys and produce Works Requests, Method Statements & Risk Assessments
* Repair floor and wall coverings
* Replace and repair ceiling tiles
* Undertake building fabric and installation tasks
* Carry out lamp changes, lighting maintenance, filter changes (AHUs/FCUs) and basic plumbing
* Use PDA for updates, job completion and communication
* Complete reactive, PPM and project works efficiently
* Support minor project work where needed
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations
* Carry out any reasonable tasks assigned by the Technical Services Manager
Ideal Candidate
* Multi-skilled background in building services
* Strong fabric repair capabilities
* Basic plumbing experience
* Experience with lighting, filters and minor mechanical tasks
* Confident producing RAMS
* Good communication and PDA literacy
* Strong Health & Safety awareness
