Futures are looking to appoint an Energy Storage Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of large-scale energy storage projects. This role is responsible for overseeing projects from contract award through to completion and post-handover support, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the delivery and operational performance of complex energy infrastructure projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced project manager with a background in energy infrastructure, renewable energy, or utility-scale power projects to take ownership of high-value projects within the rapidly growing energy sector. Roles & Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end delivery of energy storage projects, from contract award through construction, commissioning, and project close-out. Ensure projects meet technical, commercial, and operational requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations. Ensure projects are delivered in line with programme schedules, budgets, and contractual obligations. Monitor project performance, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies where required. Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across all project activities. Manage project reporting, documentation, and communication throughout the project lifecycle. Oversee project handover processes and support post-delivery operational activities where required. The Requirements Proven experience delivering large-scale infrastructure or renewable energy projects, ideally within energy storage or power infrastructure. Strong project management experience across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases. Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and external contractors. Demonstrated ability to manage project schedules, budgets, and commercial performance. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Knowledge of energy storage technologies, grid-connected projects, or renewable energy infrastructure is highly desirable. Degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, energy, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
