The Opportunity
Responsibilities
The Finance Consultant will take ownership of a project to resolve debit balances across the Accounts Payable (AP) ledger, spanning multiple entities worldwide. This role will suit a proactive finance professional who enjoys problem solving, process improvement, and delivering results. Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the reconciliation of AP ledgers and resolving debit balances
* Partnering with colleagues across departments and international regions to identify and address root causes
* Driving a structured project plan with clear milestones and deliverables
* Implementing robust, auditable processes to enhance financial control going forward
* Providing regular progress updates and adding real value to the finance function
Background And Experience
We are seeking a hands-on and adaptable professional with:
* Proven experience in AP ledger reconciliations and debit balance resolution
* A track record of delivering finance clean-up or process improvement projects
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels
* A proactive, independent approach combined with excellent planning and organisational skills
