I am writing a nonfiction book about global value chains and Africa's role in the world economy. The manuscript draft is complete, and I am looking for a research-oriented assistant to help strengthen the chapters with supporting facts.
This is NOT a writing or rewriting job.
It is a research and data compilation role.
Your task will be to support existing chapters by finding:
• credible statistics
• historical industry events
• country case studies
• supporting sources (World Bank, IMF, FAO, UN, industry reports, etc.)
You will NOT be asked to change my writing style or argument.
You will only supply supporting evidence in bullet format.
The book covers sectors such as:
• Coffee and cocoa supply chains
• Oil and energy exports
• Minerals and technology inputs
• Textiles and manufacturing
• Food systems and trade
For each chapter you will provide:
• 10–15 relevant statistics with sources
• 1–2 historical events or turning points
• 1 country case study example
• 4–6 credible sources
All responses should be in clear bullet format.
This is a fixed project covering approximately 10 chapters, with expected total workload around 20 hours.
