Our client is a privately-owned business based in London that specialises in the construction of Groundworks and Civil Engineering packages. They currently turnover in the region of £70million per annum, with structured plans for steady and sustainable growth.
About the Role
The Setting Out Engineer will be responsible for accurately setting out and surveying the RC Frame and Groundwork package across site. This includes interpreting technical drawings, establishing grid lines and levels, and ensuring all works are carried out in line with project specifications.
You’ll work closely with site management and subcontractors, playing a key role in maintaining quality, accuracy, and programme on site.
About the requirements
* 3+ years’ experience as a Setting Out Engineer within Groundworks or Civil Engineering
* Proficient with surveying equipment (GPS, Total Station)
* Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, and site procedures
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
