Due to company expansion, my client is recruiting permanently for a Permitting Development Manager to join their Strategic Development team. As part of a small team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering operational and regulatory services essential to protect and improve land.
You will work closely with operational teams, providing technical advice and support. Key responsibilities include drafting environmental permits and permit variations for new and existing treatment activities, ensuring compliance, and managing reports for existing permits.
REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have at least 5 years of proven experience in the contaminated land or waste industry and a strong understanding of UK permitting regulations.
Due to site locations, you must be willing to travel throughout the UK and hold a full UK driving license. This position can be based at their offices in Cardiff or Warrington, with hybrid working arrangements available.
REWARDS AND BENEFITS
The salary for this role ranges from £40,000 to £47,000 per annum, depending on experience and suitability.
