We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic RE ECT to join our school in Redbridge. You will inspire students to explore the big questions of life and develop their own spiritual understanding.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially 5).
* Prepare students for GCSE examinations.
* Create a stimulating and reflective learning environment.
* Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including discussions and debates.
* Contribute to the development of the RE curriculum.
* Participate in departmental meetings and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy, or a related subject.
* Strong subject knowledge and understanding of diverse religious and philosophical perspectives.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A passion for fostering critical thinking and respect for different viewpoints.
