Simply Education is delighted to be recruiting a teaching assistant in the Grantham area. We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistant to join a team, supporting students in a dynamic and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
* Assisting with classroom activities and educational programs.
* Providing one-on-one support to students to help them achieve their learning goals.
* Managing and supporting challenging behaviour in a calm and effective manner.
* Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to create a positive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience working in SEMH, SEN, or a similar educational setting.
* A high level of resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A genuine passion for supporting and inspiring young people.
Requirements
* Relevant experience in an educational or care setting.
* Strong understanding of SEMH and related behavioural strategies.
* Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
* A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
