We are looking for an experienced Analyst to join our manufacturing clients Commercial Team and play a critical role in driving data-informed decision-making. This role will be delivering actionable insights that support strategic planning, sales performance, pricing strategy, and overall commercial growth. The Commercial Analyst will: Act as the primary point of contact for all data-related matters, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across the organisation. Prepare data-driven sales and product forecasts, including OTE projections, to support strategic planning, resource allocation, and performance monitoring. Track and analyse KPIs, delivering actionable insights to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency. Identify and implement opportunities to enhance sales effectiveness through automation, improved processes, and data-led problem solving. Develop and maintain business intelligence dashboards and reports, streamlining existing processes and introducing new efficiencies. Support pricing requests with robust pricing and product costing analysis to ensure competitiveness and profitability. Leverage AI-driven tools and advanced analytics to inform strategic decisions and uncover growth opportunities. Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact insights that drive commercial and operational success. Key competencies of the Commercial Analyst: Commercial acumen, forecasting and financial modelling, KPI tracking, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, finance, and product teams. Proven ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders through reports, visualisations, and presentations Experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar, for reporting and dashboard development. Knowledge of statistical techniques and forecasting models to support predictive analysis and business planning. Strong understanding of commercial strategy, sales performance metrics, and financial KPIs. Experience in product pricing, costing, and profitability analysis to support market competitiveness. Comfortable working in agile environments with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 37 years of experience in a data analytics, commercial analyst, or business intelligence role. A degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics or Computer Science would be a distinct advantage. CIMA, ACCA qualifications would be an advantage in this role but not essential. This business is offering hybrid working, and a friendly, team-orientated culture.
