Housing Support Worker Leeds £27,804 - £30,383 Per annum Full Time Permanent Ref: INS1191921 Join Our Team as a Housing Support Worker! Do you enjoy supporting people to overcome challenges and take positive steps towards a more independent life? Are you motivated by meaningful work where compassion, resilience and practical action come together to create real change? As a Housing Support Worker, within our Beacon / Somewhere Safe to Live Team, you’ll provide person centred, housing related support to adults who may have complex needs, experience of homelessness, isolation or safeguarding concerns. Managing your own caseload, you’ll carry out assessments, develop trauma informed support plans and deliver regular face to face support that helps people maintain their tenancies, build confidence and work towards successful move on into independent living. This is a varied, hands on role where no two days are the same. You’ll travel across Leeds, supporting people to move into new homes, manage rent and bills, set up utilities, maintain safe and welcoming properties, and link in with specialist services when needed. You’ll also work closely with colleagues, landlords and partner agencies, attend multi agency meetings and play a key role in safeguarding. Who we’re looking for: • Experience in supporting individuals through challenging situations, encouraging positive engagement, and offering support in difficult moments • Confident managing a caseload, delivering support, and keeping accurate records • Able to apply and promote risk management to working practices in line with policies and procedures • Hold a valid UK driving licence (or one permitting driving in the UK) with access to a vehicle for work purposes Why Join Us?
