Role Overview
Become an integral member of the Economic Research team in developing economic forecasts, coverage of macro data, and communicating with portfolio managers and traders.
Key Responsibilities
* Improve and build out forecasting frameworks for key economic variables. Including inflation, GDP, labour market indicators, and key surveys.
* Analyze economic data—both in real time (for data releases) and to build larger thematic views.
* Improve the team’s collection of high frequency data.

* Motivated to continuously grow and improve.
* Interested in forecasting. Interested in economics is a plus but not a requirement.
* Must be in final year of University (Bachelors) or graduated up to 3 years ago.
* Must have a Quantitative Degree (STEM and Economics).
Quantitative Requirements
* Strong quantitative skills.
* Experience with data manipulation.
* Strong coding skills, preferably Python.
* Some experience with time series modelling is a plus.
