Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head of Business Systems to join our community hub team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the organisation's core operations and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, define and deliver the systems strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and digital transformation priorities.
* Oversight of system selection, implementation, and lifecycle management.
* Drive automation, integration and optimisation across platforms to improve efficiency and user experience.
* Optimise system usage to unlock operational value and improve performance.
* Lead and develop the Support Systems and Operational Systems teams, fostering a high‑performance culture.
* Set clear objectives, provide coaching and ensure professional development pathways for team members.
* Drive a culture of collaboration across IT team and wider, for joint up working around systems, data and IT operations.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a senior systems leadership role, ideally within health or social care.
* Strong track record of delivering systems strategy and managing complex portfolios.
* Deep understanding of SaaS platforms, integration tools and automation technologies.
* Track record in improving user experience.
* Expertise in governance, compliance and data security frameworks.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
