To assist with the provision of the pharmacy service by participating in:
* The accurate and safe assembly of medicines to be dispensed
* The accurate and safe receipt, storage, distribution and delivery of medicines
* The production, monitoring and filing of documentation

Location
This role will be based in the pharmacy department within University Hospital Hairmyres.
What we’ll need you to bring (Qualifications/Experience)
* Scottish Vocational Qualification Pharmacy Services Level II or working towards or equivalent experience.
* Or Postholders with no previous experience will be treated in accordance with Annex 21 Arrangements for Pay and Banding of Trainees
* Initial induction period of up to 3 months, followed by a period of training and consolidation to achieve full competency within 12 months following induction.
* Be capable of understanding and working within Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
* Commitment to CPD / Self motivation / Ability to work unsupervised
* Able to plan, prioritise and organise workload and to work under pressure
* Able to take direction, work under their own initiative and as part of a team
* Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrate customer awareness/focus.
* Ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
* Willingness to contribute to the general working of the pharmacy department
Please note for all vacancies where a driving licence is required this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.
Contract and hours
* Contract type: Permanent
* Full time: 37 hours
