Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in various tasks across different projects, ensuring that the site is clean & tidy, and materials are available to various trades. This is a good opportunity to be subjected to various trades, whereby everybody in our team are helpful and positive to work with. As long as you are willing to learn, get involved and can work well with our various trades you will be absolutely fine.
Duties
* Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
* Perform general maintenance and cleaning of work areas.
* Support skilled tradespeople in their tasks, including construction, landscaping, or other manual labour activities.
* Operate basic tools and machinery safely under supervision.
* Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
* Report any issues or hazards to the supervisor promptly.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning as required.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a labouring role is advantageous but not essential.
* Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy items.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
* Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations related to construction or manual work is preferred.
* A willingness to learn new skills and take on various responsibilities as needed.
