Job Description
🚀 The Job Mission
This role leads full planning integration for permanent building cranes across 34 buildings.
You’ll oversee £60m of delivery scope interfacing across construction and supply teams.
Your future team ensures aligned scheduling from site delivery to commissioning.
⚡️ Deliver full-scope integration for assembly, installation, and commissioning of cranes
⚡️ Validate access readiness and progress on-site to support planned schedules
⚡️ Develop and maintain resource-loaded schedules in Primavera P6
⚡️ Ensure planning alignment across suppliers, site teams, and building areas
⚡️ Identify risks, escalate discrepancies, and propose mitigation strategies
⚡️ Support project strategies in line with the Programme Execution Plan (PEP)
⚡️ Drive lessons learned and ensure knowledge capture across contracts
⚡️ Interface with global stakeholders, including French client and supply chain
Qualifications
🛠 Essential Skills
🛠 Proficiency in Primavera P6 and planning software
🛠 Strong understanding of construction planning across complex infrastructure
🛠 Quantity surveying background or experience in project cost control
🛠 Working knowledge of CDM Regulations
🛠 Analytical and critical reasoning skills for planning risk and mitigation
🛠 Experience in managing high-value packages and contract delivery
🛠 Skilled in stakeholder communication across site and client teams
🛠 Understanding of nuclear quality assurance and site safety expectations
✔️ Desired Skills
✔️ Degree or equivalent in engineering, construction, or related field
✔️ APM PPQ or other project management certifications
✔️ Experience in FIDIC contract environments
✔️ Proven record of managing commercial claims or contract change
✔️ Knowledge of large mechanical installation packages (e.g. cranes, heavy plant)
