Due to business demand, we are looking to recruit an Experienced FLT Operative; Tiger Tim Products is an established, and growing Company, we are proud to be the global leader in the manufacturing and distribution of Firelighters and BBQ products.
Working within the Warehouse & Logistics Department, you will be joining a busy team, reporting to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager. This role is pivotal in ensuring the Company has the right amount of stock in the right place at the right time, from raw materials to finished goods; whilst ensuring the flow of supplies and product to and from the production halls.
The role requires you to work four 12-hour shifts per week, on a rotational basis to include days and nights, weekdays only. However, there may be occasional overtime to meet the demands of the Company during our busy times.
Key Accountabilities:
* Manoeuvring forklifts safely in a busy manufacturing facility.
* Accurately logging the movement of all the raw materials, packaging, and finished goods using the stock control system.
* Safely stacking and unstacking large quantities of finished goods onto narrow racking.
* Delivering raw materials to production lines in a timely manner to avoid production down-time.
* Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage area.
* Regularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damage.
* Using industrial plastic wraps and wooden pallets to safely stack and package goods for transport.
* Ramp loading finished goods for dispatch.
* Keeping up to date on health and safety requirements and forklift operating procedures.
* Carry out regular stock checks, providing accurate reports and highlighting and stock errors to the Stock Inventory Controller.
The Person:
* RTITB Counterbalance FLT Licence.
* Experience of using computerised stock control systems is preferred but not essential.
* Thrive on working in a fast paced, high pressured and targeted environment.

* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
