Join our Modern Workplace Practice within the Technical Services Department, driving technical strategy, best practice, and the effective use of Microsoft and third‑party tools across our managed services. This senior role champions technical excellence, improves service delivery, and strengthens customer outcomes through training, mentorship, and continuous improvement.
* Act as a senior technical escalation point for Modern Workplace issues, mentoring T3 engineers and removing blockers to ensure fast, efficient resolution.
* Maintain and enhance the knowledge base, enabling T1 and T2 teams to resolve issues confidently and consistently.
* Own the lifecycle of Modern Workplace tooling, guiding engineering teams on deployment, optimisation, and best‑practice usage.
* Identify and implement service improvements across processes, tooling, automation, and reporting.
* Research industry best practice, build business cases, and lead improvements across Technical Services.
* Serve as a Product Owner for the Technical Services backlog.
* Provide consultancy to customers, supporting technology roadmapping and technical account management.
* Partner with internal teams—including Account Management, Sales Specialists, the Cloud Centre of Excellence, and Security Engineering—to shape managed service strategy and strengthen endpoint security and vulnerability remediation.
We want to hear from you if you:
* Have experience in a similar role providing guidance and development support to infrastructure engineers.
* Have a deep knowledge of Modern Workplace technologies, including M365 services such as, Intune, Autopilot, Defender, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint and Exchange Online.
* Have Modern Workplace design experience, including designing, implementing, and optimising Managed Device/O365 solutions.
* Are proficient in Endpoint Management, including Intune, Autopilot, and SCCM for provisioning, compliance, and lifecycle management.
* Have Azure AD & Identity expertise, including Conditional Access, MFA, PIM, SSO, and identity governance.
* Have a strong understanding of Teams and SharePoint to enhance communication, collaboration, and user experience.
* Have Hybrid & Cloud Infrastructure experience, working with hybrid AD environments and cloud workloads across Microsoft 365 and Azure.
* Have a solid understanding of M365 licensing models and cost‑efficiency strategies.
* Can demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement skills, confidently communicating technical solutions, conducting service reviews, and advising customers on best practice.
