My client is a well-established engineering business operating across the UK, providing specialist maintenance and support on access equipment. They are currently looking for a skilled Service Engineer to join their growing team, working across a variety of environments including commercial, industrial and residential sites.
The Role - Service Engineer:
1. Servicing and repairing platform lifts and access equipment
2. Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
3. Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults
4. Responding to reactive breakdowns across your patch
5. Working across commercial, industrial and residential environments
6. Daily interaction with customers and end users
7. Completing job documentation accurately using handheld devices
8. Working independently with minimal supervision
Minimum Skills / Experience Required - Service Engineer:
9. Experience working as a Service Engineer / Lift Engineer / Platform Lift Engineer / Maintenance Engineer / Field Service Engineer
10. Strong electro-mechanical background
11. Experience in carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance
12. Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical and electrical systems
13. Experience working on access equipment, lifts or similar systems
14. Professional and customer-focused approach
15. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
