CNC Miller

Salary: £17.83 per hour (£36,159 per annum) + 33% night shift allowance
We are recruiting 3 experienced CNC Millers to join a leading aerospace manufacturing company in Basildon. We have two positions on nights and one on days available. You will operate 3 & 5-axis CNC milling machines to produce high-precision aerospace components.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate 3 & 5-axis CNC milling machines
Produce components to tight tolerances from engineering drawings
Carry out in-process and final quality inspections
Use a range of precision measuring equipment
Maintain and clean CNC machines and tools
Comply with ISO 50001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 9001 standards
Support continuous improvement initiatives
Skills & Experience:
Fully skilled, time-served CNC Miller Setter/Operator (certificates required)
Experience in aerospace manufacturing and working from complex drawings
Proficient with measuring equipment and CNC machinery
Strong attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and problem-solving
Flexible and adaptable to shift patterns
