What You’ll Do
* Oversee the delivery and collection of linen, terry, and guest dry cleaning daily, and report discrepancies in delivery quantities and quality.
* Clean and maintain exterior areas of the hotel including guest entrances and loading areas.
* Report maintenance defects in external and public areas through the appropriate system.
* Stock linen and housekeeping supplies on guest floors and in stores; keep storage areas clean and well maintained.
* Ensure health and safety standards are followed and report breaches or hazards to the Head Housekeeper.
* Maintain cleaning materials and equipment; comply with COSHH regulations.
* Maintain a positive and friendly attitude while solving problems and delivering results.
* Support the housekeeping team to maintain high levels of cleanliness throughout the hotel.
* Manage inventory for rooms and ensure items are available and easily located.
* Provide high levels of customer care with a friendly, helpful, and responsive service for guests.
* Assist in cleaning other areas of the hotel as required.
