Job Description:
Principal Planning Lawyer
Hybrid working: 2 days office attendance per week, with offices located throughout the East of England
Sellick Partnership has partnered with one of our highly regarded clients in the recruitment of a Senior or Principal Planning Lawyer. As a Senior lawyer, you would take on complex planning and some highways matters; in a Principal role, you may also manage a small team and receive a salary supplement as listed above.
Workload includes:
* General planning advice
* Planning enforcement
* Complex section 106 agreements
* Gypsy and traveller sites
The workload will be varied as you will be working on behalf of a number of public sector clients.
This role requires the expertise of a seasoned planning lawyer who ideally has previous experience of dealing with public sector work. The successful applicant will demonstrate a deep understanding of planning and highways law and have excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior planning lawyer to take on a complex caseload. For those looking to manage, this would be a great opportunity for an experienced manager wishing to develop and guide a team forward, or for those looking for a step up into management who have previously mentored junior team members.
Sellick Partnership is proud to be an inclusive and accessible recruitment business and we support applications from candidates of all backgrounds and circumstances. Please note, our advertisements use years' experience, hourly rates, and salary levels purely as a guide and we assess applications based on the experience and skills evidenced on the CV. For information on how your personal details may be used by Sellick Partnership, please review our data processing notice on our website.
