Sheridan Maine are proud to be working with a Bristol based SME organisation to recruit a newly qualified accountant looking for a step up to become a Finance Manager.
This role is varied in content, works closely with the Finance Director and will oversee all of the day-to-day accounting activities. This is a newly created role and offers a great career opportunity for a qualified Finance Manager.
Key responsibilities of this role will include:
1. Responsible for managing and developing a small team.
2. Responsible for overseeing all day-to-day financial accounting transactions.
3. Month end and year end reporting.
4. Providing key support with system improvements and integrations.
5. Supporting the business with external and internal audit requirements.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
6. Qualified Accountant – ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
7. IT/ Tech savvy with experience of ERP systems.
8. Strong technical accounting knowledge including up to date accounting standards.
9. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
