About the Role
Destination Education is currently seeking reliable and adaptable Supply Teachers to work across a range of welcoming and well-managed primary schools in Walthamstow. This role is ideal for teachers who are looking for flexible working opportunities while continuing to make a positive impact in the classroom. Opportunities include day-to-day cover, short-term placements, and longer-term assignments depending on your availability and school requirements.
You will be responsible for maintaining continuity of learning, delivering pre-planned lessons, and ensuring a structured and positive classroom environment in line with each schools policies and expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
* Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
* Follow school policies and procedures effectively.
* Ensure pupil engagement and continuity of learning throughout the day.
* Manage behaviour in line with school expectations.
* Provide clear feedback to the school at the end of each assignment.
The Ideal Candidate
* Holds QTS or equivalent.
* Has recent experience teaching in a UK primary school.
* Is flexible, reliable, and confident in different classroom settings.
* Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
* Communicates effectively with pupils and school staff.
