The role: Commercial Data and Reporting Manager
Role Overview: Lead the delivery of high-quality data, metrics, and self-service reporting to ensure the Commercial department can achieve optimal performance. Lead a team to develop and deliver highly usable data and reporting products, working alongside delivery partners across the airline. Ensure prioritisation and governance of developments across Commercial.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead development of data, metrics, and self-service reporting to enhance Commercial performance.
2. Manage a team of data and reporting analysts and coordinate cross-functional teams for product delivery and improvements.
3. Build a flexible delivery organisation adaptable to product requirements.
4. Collaborate with IT and Data teams to productionise reporting and data needs.
5. Define and implement a data and self-serve reporting strategy, including technology choices, standards, and accessibility.
6. Deliver automated reporting and metrics efficiently and sustainably.
7. Govern and prioritise cross-commercial data products and reporting initiatives.
8. Ensure quality and usability of cross-commercial data and metrics.
9. Promote best practices and the use of common data across departments.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Strong understanding of data structuring, manipulation, and sustainable processes.
* Commercial awareness with analytical skills to deliver insights.
* Proactive, delivery-focused, with a track record of leading requirements and results.
Experience in:
* Enhancing data availability and quality in a business context.
* Presenting data with high standards of clarity and professionalism.
* Leading teams to prioritise and deliver data solutions.
* Driving change in a Commercial environment.
