Salary: £40,000 - 43,000 per year Requirements: We are looking for someone with the following technical skills and experience: Strong Windows Server and Active Directory (AD) experience Exposure to Hyper-V and VMware environments Knowledge of Veeam Backup and Replication Solid understanding of networking fundamentals Experience with Lucidlink or Egnyte (remote file storage) Familiarity with Intune and Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) Experience with endpoint security tools, such as Microsoft Defender, Sophos, and Bitdefender Ideally, you should have around 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, preferably within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment. Responsibilities: In this role, you will: Deliver advanced 2nd and 3rd line support Act as an escalation point for junior engineers Get involved in a range of client projects including upgrades, migrations, and virtualization work Provide 3rd-line troubleshooting across servers, networking, and virtualization Configure and manage Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and Group Policies Support Hyper-V and VMware environments Manage backups and disaster recovery using Veeam Support networking tasks, including DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and VPN Assist with cloud technologies, including Microsoft 365, Intune, Google Apps, and AWS S3 Work on infrastructure and migration projects Maintain documentation and ensure excellent customer service is delivered.
