We are a general residential care home supporting 15 residents, where our focus is on providing high-quality, person-centred care.
About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant working night shifts, you will play a key role in ensuring our residents receive safe, compassionate care throughout the night. You will support and lead the night care team while maintaining a calm, comfortable environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality personal care and support to residents
* Lead and support care assistants on night duty
* Ensure residents safety, comfort, and wellbeing during the night
* Assist with medication administration where required
* Maintain accurate records and handovers
* Respond promptly to residents needs and any emergencies
* Promote dignity, independence, and respect at all times
Requirements
* Previous experience in a care role, preferably in a senior position
* Good leadership and communication skills
* A compassionate and reliable approach to care
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
