Job Title: Advanced Nurse Practitioner / Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ANP/ACP) Location: Leeds Salary: Depending on experience Hours: Full time or Part time Introduction We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join our friendly and supportive primary care team. Role Responsibilities As a key member of the practice clinical team, you will: Provide comprehensive care to patients, from initial history taking and clinical assessment to diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation. Demonstrate safe, evidence-based clinical decision-making and expert care for patients within general practice. Manage acute and chronic conditions, minor illness, and minor injuries in accordance with best practice. Prescribe medications safely and appropriately (or work towards non-medical prescribing qualification if not yet attained). Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, pharmacists, and other members of the primary care team to deliver coordinated and effective care. Contribute to clinical leadership within the practice, supporting colleagues and promoting continuous quality improvement. Participate in audits, multidisciplinary meetings, and clinical governance activities. Person Specification Essential: NMC registered nurse (Advanced Practice level or working towards ACP status). Experience in a primary care or urgent care setting. Qualification in minor illness and injury management. Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Desirable: MSc (Level 7) in Advanced Clinical Practice or working towards completion. Independent prescriber qualification (V300).
