About the role
The desired Year 1/2 Teacher will be confident with delivery and planning of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and be able to effectively communicate with the phase leader with regards to pupil progress and the topics covered. The appointed Year 1/ 2 Teacher will be responsible for planning, reports, and attending school meetings. The school are looking for an engaging and creative practitioner of any experience level. The role is set to commence in February/ March 2026. Ideally ASAP.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Year 1/2 Teacher you will:
1. Plan, deliver and mark all work to a high standard
2. Hold qualified teacher status in the UK (QTS)
3. Be able to provide 2 references to support your recent teaching experience
4. Be able to provide full DBS clearance
5. Have KS1 teaching experience
6. Implement the school’s behaviour policy consistently and effectively
7. Have an inclusve approach to working with children and a therapeautic approach to working with children with additional needs
