Telehandler Driver - Ashford, Kent (Commercial Project) Rate: £20 - £21 per hour | Location: Ashford, Kent (TN23) Start: 16th February | Duration: 6 Months We are currently recruiting a Telehandler Driver to work for a Specialist Regional Main Contractor known for delivering high-quality projects. This is a 6-month contract working on a Commercial scheme in Ashford, Kent. The client builds bespoke projects and requires an operator who is a true team player. About Us Atkinson Baker Associates are a specialist construction recruitment partner, supporting contractors nationwide with high-quality site operatives and long-term workforce solutions. The Role You will be responsible for operating the machine to offload deliveries and distribute materials. However, as this is a commercial project rather than a high-volume housing site, the machine will not be running all day. We are looking for a driver who is proactive and happy to jump out of the cab to support the site team with general labouring duties during quiet periods. Key Responsibilities Operating the Telehandler safely and efficiently. Loading, unloading, and distributing materials to trades. Assisting with general site labouring and logistics when not lifting. Maintaining a clean and safe site environment. Carrying out daily machine checks. Requirements Essential: Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler card. Essential: Willingness to carry out labouring duties (this is a condition of the role). Essential: Own transport (to ensure reliability). Experience working on Commercial or Bespoke construction projects. Reliable, safety-conscious, and helpful attitude. What's on Offer £20 - £21 per hour (Paid weekly). 6 months guaranteed work.
