Overview
We are seeking a Systems Engineer (MBSE) with extensive years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the defence industry and Model Based Systems Engineering - Ideally with strong expertise in systems engineering, verification validation, project management, and Documentation. We are looking for an Engineer who promotes a mindset of attention to detail, communication, and teamwork within the team. Candidates with a good understanding of Model based engineering techniques, including the use of DOORS NG, Rhapsody and Engineering Workflow.

Responsibilities
* As a Model Based Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems solutions that meet our clients' needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of systems, while adhering to industry standards and best practices.
* Duties include but not limited to:
o Support the development and effective use of MBSE tools and artifacts in support of customer needs.
o Designing and maintaining requirements architectures.
o Creating SysML views to represent interactions
o You are expected to be able to work in all areas of top the V model where you will be able to support concept translating systems to customer requirements, through to in-service support. You will be expected to provide systems engineering support to customer design and engineering management teams.
o Full requirements management (creation, update, validation, verification), including suppliers’ integration and DOORS experience,
o Documentation: Produce detailed technical documentation, supporting the development of engineering requirements and associated documentation.
o Completion of trade studies
o Manage planning and work package management.
o Reviewing, documentation - Subsystems, customer, work packages.
o SYS ML Generation
o UML Knowledge
o Requirements elicitation and definition, and Use Case analysis
o Concept assessment and design trade studies

Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Applicable and suitable experience can be substituted for qualifications.

Experience
* Extensive experience in Model Based Systems Engineering roles.
* Proven experience in systems engineering, preferably within the defence or aerospace industry
* Additional expertise in Nanal Systems
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and propose innovative solutions
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
* Experience with project management practices and tools, including schedule management, risk analysis, and resource allocation
* Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations, such as MIL-STD, DO-178C, and DO-254, is desirable
* Eligibility for security clearance (dependent on project requirements)
