Salary: £90 – £110 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term; Full-Time / Part-Time

We are currently seeking committed and reliable Level 1 Teaching Assistants to support schools across Nottinghamshire. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping young learners thrive both academically and personally in the classroom setting.
As a Level 1 Teaching Assistant (Level 1 TA), you will work under the direction of teaching staff to provide support for pupils across various key stages. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain valuable school-based experience, whether you are just beginning your career or seeking a new opportunity to make a positive impact.
Level 1 Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
* Assist teachers in preparing classroom materials and resources
* Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and engaging with learning tasks
* Provide individual or small group support, including for pupils with additional needs
* Encourage positive behaviour and promote a safe, inclusive learning environment
* Assist with classroom organisation and daily routines
* Build supportive relationships with pupils and staff
* Help with monitoring pupil progress and feedback as required
Requirements:
* A Level 1 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience in a school setting
* A genuine interest in supporting children's education and development
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Patience, empathy, and a flexible approach to supporting learning
* Have an updated CV and an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL Education
