We are a well-established portable toilet and tanker hire business that operate a large fleet of HGV and LGV vehicles across various locations situated throughout the UK. We hire temporary waste and water solutions from 1000ltr waste and water storage tanks up to 30.000ltr storage tanks. Currently members of FORS and hold Gold accreditation.
We are currently looking for an Area Manager to join the team, you will be based at our Sandy depot and will travel around our UK based Satellite depots, possibly an occasional night out, if required.
Hours: 40 hours minimum per week
Starting Salary : £40,000.00 starting salary + Company Car & Mobile Phone
Requirement: NEBOSH or CPC Holder (Transport Manager)
We are looking for an Area Manager who is an organised and driven individual with experience in the Transport sector, to manage and oversee the day to day running of our satellite depots and personnel.
Key attributes:
Strong in depot auditing and people management skills
Area Manager to h ave knowledge of health and safety, transport compliance and HR
Good communication is essential in this role
Are highly IT literate in systems, specifically Excel
Are resilient and able to constructively challenge and influence
Area Manager to h ave the ability to understand customer and business requirements
Are able to work under pressure and manage multiple simultaneous priorities
Area Manager to h ave a full and valid UK Driving Licence
