The role We are looking for a talented Marketing & Events Senior Executive to join our fantastic Marketing team on a fixed-term basis to deliver high-quality client events and networking initiatives. The successful candidate will have exceptional interpersonal, organisational, verbal and written communication skills, and have previous experience in a professional services or corporate events role. Duties of the role include: Assisting with the planning, preparation, and delivery of business and marketing events, including seminars, webinars, networking sessions, client hospitality, and corporate functions. Coordinating event logistics such as venue sourcing, supplier liaison, catering arrangements, delegating registration, event materials, pre and post-event follow-up. Attending events to ensure smooth delivery, acting as a key point of contact for delegates and speakers. Working with the Head of Marketing to create event timelines, budgets, and run sheets, ensuring all deadlines are met. Collecting, analysing, and reporting on event feedback and performance data to measure success and identify improvements. Managing and maintaining accurate records in the firms CRM and management systems alongside the support of the Legal PA teams, ensuring data is regularly updated, cleansed, and segmented for targeted campaigns. Generating delegate lists, attendance reports, and analytics to track event ROI and marketing effectiveness. Supporting the team in extracting insights from data to inform decision-making and campaign optimisation Assisting with event promotion across multiple channels, including email campaigns, website updates, and social media posts. Coordinating the production of event-related marketing materials in collaboration with design agencies and internal stakeholders. Supporting the preparation of presentations, proposals, and award submissions where events or client engagement activities are involved. Contributing to competitor research and market analysis to enhance event offerings and positioning. Liaising with clients, partners, and stakeholders in a professional, friendly, and proactive manner. Ensuring all events and marketing activities align with Myersons brand, values, and compliance requirements. Undertaking training and development as required to meet personal and business needs. Supporting other marketing projects where needed to ensure smooth departmental operations. Who we are looking for The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a professional services or corporate events role with an understanding of event and marketing best practices. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, creative thinking, and the ability to manage multiple projects at a high level. Ideally, the successful candidate will have excellent MS Office skills with experience using webinar platforms such as Zoom or MS Teams Events, as well as design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva. They will also have experience using Campaign Monitor or similar email marketing software. By collaborating closely with the wider central marketing team, the ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered to the highest quality and that multiple and varied tasks are carried out simultaneously. The successful candidate will have a flexible approach to fulfilling the duties of the post.
