Full-time | Early finish Fridays | Overtime available We are a growing and innovative engineering business seeking a Service Engineer to support an expanding customer base and increasingly customised machinery solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to join a technically driven team working on advanced production and packaging equipment across the UK and internationally. The Role As a Service Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality technical support and service to customers. Your responsibilities will include: Installing, commissioning, and upgrading machinery at customer sites Diagnosing faults and responding to breakdowns both onsite and remotely Programming, debugging, and commissioning software for production line integration Providing technical support via phone and email Supporting spare parts enquiries and service documentation Collaborating with internal teams to resolve technical and design issues Maintaining accurate service logs and documentation in line with quality standards About You Essential: Qualification in Electrical, Electronic, or Control Engineering (e.g. HNC/HND or equivalent) Strong mechanical and electrical engineering background Experience working with 3-phase electrical systems Minimum 5 years experience servicing and fault-finding industrial machinery Experience with Siemens and/or Allen Bradley software (basic programming) Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to implement effective solutions Confident using MS Office and working within a team environment Desirable: Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar Chartered status (or working towards it) Experience installing or commissioning packaging machinery or production lines Experience with line validation and associated documentation What Youll Need A valid passport Willingness to travel across the UK and internationally Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
